What to Expect
Expect a stay in a supervised setting of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension for longer residence when needed.
A counselor meets with each new resident during the initial week or so to cooperatively develop a Service Plan based on your individual needs and goals. All residents are enrolled in counseling for addiction recovery, enrolled in primary medical care, and helped to find mental health services where needed.
The resident community at Sangre de Cristo House is welcoming and supportive, with each resident expected to contribute to the quality of daily life. Regular groups and activities are supplemented by self-study and skill-building exercises.
What to Bring
With an expected length of residence of 3 to 6 months, it’s important to bring a sufficient supply of essential items (and some backups). Click Here for the full list.
